More Than “Just Eat Less and Exercise More”

We don’t tell you to “just eat less and exercise more”. We offer extensive dietary counseling, exercise counseling, on-site exercise classes, behavioral/emotional counseling, and medical testing and treatment of potential causes of and results of obesity.


Dietary Counseling

We spend nearly 60 minutes with new patients and 15-30 minutes at each follow-up visit teaching healthy dietary habits and practical ways to implement them into your life.


Exercise Counseling and Classes

We teach you what and how much exercising is right for you and we also offer on-site exercise classes. Our current on-site exercise class offerings are as follows:

REFIT combines several elements of fitness into one power-packed hour. While the focus is structured around CardioDance movements, toning and flexibility, strength training and stretching are also incorporated into the REFIT workout. The workout formula is easy to follow and will both challenge fitness enthusiasts and welcome beginners. Classes are Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM. Behavioral/Emotional Counseling

For many, losing weight is difficult due to stress, anxiety, etc. We have licensed counselors available to help you overcome any issues that may be hindering your ability to lose weight.


Medical Testing and Treatment

At every visit you will see our medical provider who can medically treat obesity as well as ailments associated with obesity such as high blood pressure, diabetes, hypothyroidism, acid reflux, high cholesterol, and metabolic syndrome. Regarding testing, we have partnered with Cleveland Heart Lab, the nation’s premier inflammation testing laboratory, to provide you with the latest and most accurate labs that are predictive of cardiovascular risk.
